Welcome!

 Welcome to Troop 36!

Troop 36 meets every Thursday at 7 p.m. at South Surburban Church (7275 S. Broadway) in Littleton. Our Troop was established in 1965 and, from the start, has been committed to keeping Troop 36 a Scout-led troop. That means that the boys hold leadership positions, organize outings and work together to fulfill the BSA mission. Parents are also actively involved to provide oversight and direction.

Our Troop is very active in recreational and fun activities. We commonly put on one campout a month and at least one fun activity for the Troop. Summer Camp is a great time to spend earning Merit Badges and hanging out with the troop.

The On-line Horseshoe: Weekly Update from Your SPL

Posted on May 20 2013 - 9:15pm

Troop 36,

This Thursday we are having patrol competitions! We'll see how well you work together in your new patrols (Hey Patrol Leaders: Be sure to get your Patrols ready to go by calling them, emailing them or otherwise touching base! Remember, each Patrol is responsible for set up/clean up and flags on rotating weeks). Parents: This week we will be having Parents Corner due to it not happening last week. All parents please try to  attend. This is where you can ask questions, find out more info and get caught up on all things Troop 36. Remember that the Fort Logan Flag Placement is coming up on the 25th. It will start at 7:30 a.m. and go for a couple hours at most. Please try to attend, this is the least we can do for the fallen men and women of our nation's Military.  We will then come back to Fort Logan to pick up the flags on the 28th, also will begin at 7:30 a.m. Again, try to make it to that as well. Finally, next week is the Court of Awards so hopefully you got all of your blue cards and requirements turned in. If you have anything outstanding, it is YOUR responsibility to check in with Mrs. McCall or Mrs. Roberts.

Posted on Apr 21 2013 - 5:43pm

Registration is now open for Peaceful Valley Summer Camp 2013. Troop 36 will attend PV from Sunday, June 30 through Saturday, July 6. This year's activities are huge and look to be tons of fun...swimming and canoeing to rock climbing and horsemanship to shotguns and rifles. But, you must review the activities and let Mr. Bolei know which ones you want to sign up for ASAP. It is recommended that you leave one period during the day open; fill all the others with whatever activities you want to do!
